DAY 5-7: Masai Mara National Reserve
Serengeti North/ Mara River
You’ll be collected from your lodge in Masai Mara and driven to the airstrip for your flight to the Serengeti National Park. On the way you’ll stop at the Migori Airstrip and Sirari border posts to go through passport control before continuing your journey to the Serengeti. On arrival at the Northern Serengeti airstrip you’ll be met and driven to your lodge to your next destination; Mara River Camp.
Mara River Camp, it purposefully resides a few meters from the Mara River, where the picturesque River Crossing of the great migration occurs from July to October. Here, the fight for survival is eminent when you’re caught off-guard with just how dramatic the crossing is, with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle toss themselves into the river overcrowded by the Nile crocodile ready to attack and feast on them.
