This 10-Days Tanzania Big 5 Safari and Gorilla Trekking tour combines a big five animals viewing in Serengeti Tanzania with a Gorilla Trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park-Uganda giving you an ultimate East African Safari Vacation encounter. The 9days Tanzania Big 5 Safari and Gorilla Trekking take you to witness two of Africa’s safari spectacles in Uganda and Tanzania’s major Primate and Savannah parks.
This safari and Gorilla Trekking tour covers the major wildlife parks of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara in Tanzania.
This East Africa safari holiday begins in Kigali International Airport-Rwanda from where you’ll cross over to Bwindi in Uganda and watch gorillas and thereafter take a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport to do your safari in Tanzania.

Today you’ll spend a full day in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.
Amboseli a scenic park in its own right; Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things – majestic herds of elephant and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighboring Tanzania.
Kenya’s second most popular national park after the Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli was declared a UNESCO-Mab Biosphere Reserve in 1991.
During heavy rains, the basin at the centre of the park floods, attracting hordes of wildlife. The reserve is an excellent place to view the Big Five, as well as lesser known and rarer wildlife species.

Day 4: Drive From Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at Lodge/. Afternoon game drives till evening – dinner and an overnight stay.
Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in a wonderland which lies in the heart of one of Kenya’s most densely animal populated wetland National Parks (Ramsar site) only two leisurely hours’ drive from Nairobi, through beautiful forested uplands and passing a series of lakes.

Today you can opt to depart for an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru and later drive back to the lodge for the breakfast or wakeup at 7am enjoying your breakfast at leisure and later depart with en route game drive from Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Masai Mara (Maasai Mara) is known as Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve, situated in southwest Kenya. Famous for the abundance of lion, the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Masai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.

DAY 6: Game drive in Masai Mara
Masai Mara National Reserve
Wake before the dawn for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Masai Mara sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you’ll head out into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search for a meal.
Alternatively, you can take to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife. Ask your safari expert about adding a hot air balloon adventure to your safari.
You’ll then return to your lodge for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and heading back out into the park for a day-long exploration of the Masai Mara.
After a day full of excitement, you’ll return to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

Today we arise with an early breakfast, depart with en route morning game drive from Masai Mara to Tanzania land crossing border at Isibania. After arriving at Isibania -you’ll be met with African Diurnal Safaris guide who will transfer you to Western/ Northern/Central Serengeti where you’ll be spending 2 nights exploring these famous parts of the park.

Depart after breakfast at the lodge with your picnic lunch; embark on morning game drive till afternoon in Eastern/ Southern Serengeti. Later you’ll be transferred to Ngorongoro conservation area. Arrive at the rim of the crater at the lodge for an evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Depart after your breakfast at the lodge for a full day crater tour game drive with picnic lunch. On late afternoon you’ll drive to Tarangire for the dinner and overnight stay.
The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep- volcanic crater, the largest unfolded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Drive From Tarangire to Arusha town

Today you’ll have some breakfast before leaving the lodge and enjoying your final East Africa Great National Parks Safari, spend a morning and afternoon game drive in the park. Afterward you’ll be transferred to Arusha town for an evening relaxation at the lodge, dinner and overnight.
Tarangire National Park covering approximately 2600 square kilometers is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rains when they migrate again to good grazing areas

The 3 nights are spent relaxing on the white sand beaches, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean and enjoying your Zanzibar beach resort at leisure.
The islands of the Zanzibar are famous for their idyllic tropical beaches and are known as the Spice Islands, for the exotic spices grown there. Visit the spice plantations to smell, see and taste the brightly colored and aromatic spices, such as turmeric, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.
You can take some optional activities like a boat ride to one of the smaller islands to relax and explore, or go for dolphin tour as well as prison Island.
