This 6-day Uganda safari takes you through some of the country’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich destinations. You will experience chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, thrilling game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and unforgettable gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The journey also includes scenic drives through Uganda’s countryside, cultural encounters, and relaxing stays in carefully selected lodges that suit different comfort levels.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from Journey Smiles Expeditions. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for relaxation after your journey.

After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world.
The drive is very scenic, passing through lush green landscapes, banana plantations, and local villages. You will travel via Mityana and Fort Portal, where you will enjoy beautiful views of tea plantations.

You will wake up early and head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides.
After the briefing, you will enter the forest to track chimpanzees. The trek can take about 2 to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located. Once found, you will spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat—watching them feed, play, and interact.
After lunch, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions. The game drive takes about 3–4 hours, with the best chances of seeing wildlife in the early morning.
After the game drive, you will continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, specifically the Buhoma sector in the northern part of the park.

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.
You will then be assigned a gorilla family and begin your trek through the forest. The trek can take between 2 to 5 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural environment.
After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation. You may also choose to visit nearby communities for a cultural experience.

After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe. Along the way, you will pass through Kabale and Mbarara.
You will stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre and later visit the Uganda Equator, where you can stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time and take memorable photos.
Afterward, you will proceed to Entebbe for your evening stay or drop-off at the airport for your departure flight.
